Material e Método: realizou-se revisão integrativa da literatura dos últimos 10 anos, segundo as recomendações PRISMA (Preference Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis), nas bases de dados PubMed, LILACS e SciELO, empregando-se os descritores, constipação intestinal AND dietoterapia AND criança AND terapêutica; constipação intestinal AND dieta AND fibras na dieta AND criança; constipação intestinal AND pediatria AND fibras na dieta.
